Gerard and Dean met through a previous job and bonded over a mutual love for the Lone Star State, Texas. They have both traveled this region of the US extensively and discovered a love for authentic Mexican food, which is heavily prevalent due to the hispanic population in Texas.
They began to play with the idea of merging Mexican with Dean’s family history of Indian cooking. Not long later, the concept for the Currito, or the curried burrito, was finalised.
Using fresh, zingy tastes of Mexico and meshing it with the aromatic taste of India results in something truly unique. The Currito comes with fillings like Butter Chicken, Beef Keema and acurried chick pea and cauliflower veggie option.
The sides and salads really bring some creative flair with options like Fajita Fries (think salt and pepper chips but Mexican), the clever concept of Naanchos, and refreshing Mango or Black Beansalads. All of these delights are served with your choice of freshly made dressings.
Get yourself down here and give this stuff a try, there’s nothing like it in Liverpool!
